As you (hopefully) will have noticed from our home page, JPF Amplification have launched a new amplifier, the Regent 25, powered by a pair of Golden Lion KT66 reissues to give an undistorted 25W.

Barrie Cadogan (Little Barrie & Primal Scream) took delivery of the first 2 x 12″ Regent 25 combination amplifier (see his interview with Guitarist Magazine).

Barrie can be seen (and heard…..) putting his new amplifier through its paces on our Youtube channel using a variety of guitars, including a £109 Squier Bullet. Checkout our media section to access the videos.

The Regent 25 is available both as a head (£875) and as a 2 x 12″ combination (from £1225 depending on speaker configuration).

We’ve just taken delivery of a custom flight case for a SC15, which Dave Page is taking on Jonathon Jeremiah‘s latest tour.

Despite working to a tight schedule Castle Cases managed to get the case to us a day early!

A big thanks to Nigel at Castle.h

The JPF Sir Charles 15 combination amplifier has been deemed “highly recommended” by Guitar & Bass magazine in their 2011 “Gear of The Year” round up.

Read about this in the lastest issue.

Here’s a photo of James Stevenson using a JPF Sir Charles 15 with the Alarm.

In addition to playing with the Alarm, James also plays with Glen Matlock, and Gene Loves Jezebel. Check out James’ website for details of his upcoming gigs and highlights of his guitar and amp collection.

A mate of mine Joe has now got his website (creatively called joespedals.com!) up and running selling a great selection of boutique pedals.

Joe is a real pedal nut, so all the pedals he sells are ones he personnally recommends.

Hopefully we’ll soon get a selection of Joe’s personal collection in the “museum section” of his site.

I have now returned from the Dallas Guitar show 2010. Miraculously neither my flight to, nor from Dallas was delayed by the Icelandic volcano.

I will post a further report of my trip including some pictures of cool guitars at the show.

Just to let you know that we will be shutting for business on Monday 21st December and will be re-opening in the New Year on January 4th.

In the New Year we will be adding a Tech Info section, which we hope will present some information not found elsewhere.

We will of course continue to post any interesting amps/ repairs that we have in.

Have a great break and all the best for 2010.
